Bachche Mann ke Sachche. It is considered that the Divine is most visible in kids. The offsprings of any species, be it man or animals, are so adorable and attractive. Always playful and full of energy.

As adults we often find ourselves imparting some or the other knowledge in kids. But if we observe carefully, there is so much to actually learn from them. Agree they can’t speak, but even without words they manage to display the purest form of Love. A child smiles at everyone, including random strangers. They believe in the goodness in everyone, without any bias, believe the world to be a good place.

My first encounter of someone smaller than me, lil sister :P

Children are natural yogics. They practise so many mudras and asanas naturally, while growing-up. Their body is completely flexible and mind so sharp, they can grasp and learn much faster than adults.

A child has so many questions: Why the sky is blue, tree is green, water is liquid, food is solid and the best part is whatever you tell them, they believe you and are quickly off to the next leading question. They are always in wonder and amazement. They see magic and life in everything. Give them crayons and in their imaginations the sun smiles, moon sleeps, animals speak like humans, sometimes even humans get wings.

They can stare for hours at the fan or a lizard on the wall, they don’t get bored as easily as us adults. They don’t need expensive toys for timepass. Small games like hiding and appearing suddenly amuse them and gets a smile on their tiny face. The world is their playground. They can play with you the whole day, completely having fun in the moment, but with a certain dispassion, so that once it’s time to say bye and leave, they are ready for that too.

They are always 100% in the present moment. When they cry, they cry with every inch of their body. Give them a toy or candy and they forget their sorrow the next moment, like nothing happened. They are so natural with everyone, there is no pretence, no efforts for others to like them and probably that exactly is what makes them so attractive.

The best feeling in the world is holding a child close, staring at their innocent face as they sleep peacefully. When they manage to call you whatever you are to them for the first time, that is so magical, makes your day :D. They make you live your childhood again.

It is tough to imagine it now but we were all in that stage once upon a time…What happened? Where did you lose that innocence, that ability to love so deeply and with purity? That knack for knowing things..the amazement..living in present moment with dispassion.. naturalness. Something to ponder upon :)
